NB. Hotel will undergo a major refurbishment including all public areas, introducing additional meeting space, increasing the size of all bedrooms (number of bedrooms will drop from 216 to 180), adding a gymnasium and an extra floor with nine unique suites. Work is planned to commence in the beginning of Jan06 (still exact date to be confirmed) and is estimated to take approx 18 months to complete. Due to the volume of work and the Health & Safety restrictions the Berners will have to close its doors for the first 12 months.

Built in 1835 and renovated in 2001, this hotel has 6 floors with 39 single rooms, 173 doubles and twin rooms as well as 4 suites. The hotel offers it's guests an elegant foyer with lifts, a cloakroom, a safe, a currency exchange and a 24-hour reception.
